Nautilus Dive Adventures, specializes in multi-day liveaboard safari scuba diving. From the giant mantas and sharks of Socorro to the Sea of Cortez, Mexico sardine run, Cocos Island of the sharks to exploring the oceans and rainforest of Costa Rica, we do it all! With a fleet of boats from our ocean-going 147 ft Nautilus Belle Amie and 132 ft Nautilus Explorer, to our 116 ft expedition yacht Gallant Lady, the 106 ft ocean-going UnderSea, the 55 ft pocket liveaboard Westerly, and our 45 ft sailing catamaran.

Diving Experiences

Socorro Giant Mantas, Dolphins, Sharks

Amazing diving is an understatement. Socorro is famous for its friendly giants, the manta rays. This offshore archipelago, national park and UNESCO World Heritage Site is also home to 11 species of sharks including whale sharks andschooling hammerheads, super friendly dolphins and denseschools of fish. It’s a must-do experience for any diver.

Ultimate Whale Shark and the Sea of Cortez

Whale sharks!! Who doesn’t want to swim with whale sharks, especially when there are loads of them in a deserted bay and national park deep into the reaches and best diving in the Sea of Cortez. Fingers crossed on orcas, fin back and sperm whales.

Mobulas & Orcas in the Sea of Cortez

Swim with hundreds or even thousands of mobulas. This is peak season for orca encounters. Swim with whale sharks (in season), sea lions, and dolphins. Our spotter airplane will be scouting for blue, finback, sperm, and pilot whales.

Sea of Cortez – 5 or 7 Nights

The Sea of Cortez has rebounded with life best described as different season, different seas. Mega pods of dolphins year round. Super friendly sea lions. Fast schools of fish. Whales in the winter through early summer. Huge aggregations of mobula rays. Visiting orcas. Super summer and fall diving with warmest water and best vis of the year.

Cocos Island of the Sharks

Cocos is the dive destination that experienced divers speak of in whispers. It’s legendary. It is super sharky. It is some of the best diving anywhere. Going ashore exploring what feels like Jurassic Park is the icing on the cake.

Costa Rica Ocean & Rainforest

132 ft liveaboard safari boat. Naturalist guided rainforest adventures in the morning andthen snorkel, kayak or scuba dive in the afternoons. Departs from Golfito, CR. Fly into San Jose.

San Ignacio Lagoon Gray Whales

The most extraordinary whale interaction on the planet. Gray whales actively seek us out for “human watching” and physical affection.

Mexico Sardine Run

The Pacific Ocean on the west side of Baja explodes with life during the annual sardine run. Unique combo of liveaboard escort boat and local pangas. Snorkelling and freediving.

Baja Ultimate Whales

Whales, whales, and more whales, along with swimming with whale sharks, sea lions, and dolphins. Fingers crossed for blue, finback, humpback, gray, and maybe even orca, sperm, or sei whales. Combines spotter airplane, whale watching of Cabo, a Sea of Cortez expedition yacht, and luxury camping in San Ingacio.
